timeless.i believe i know the saddest girl in the entire world,  and even though she’s always buried amongst the crowd,  and her smile matches every mood,    i can see through her.     right through her.

LazareStarting again. Another summer burned away like a candle, and this young man‘s memories were like its wax.  Lazare Rose, a sophomore student at Corsican University had worked hard last year to make the top of all his classes, and to be considered one of the best athletes. This year would be just as demanding, he anticipated it greatly. He sat outside of the main building  of his school, with his messenger bag slung on his left shoulder. How's everyone doing? I suppose neither of us moderators have had time to do much moderating for this club, let alone actual work. So I have a proposition. I don't want to let the club die off, but it's not going anywhere at this pace.

So, how about I do a little informing?

How many of you have heard about NaNoWriMo? National Novel Writing Month. It starts November 1st, and ends at November 31st. The contest? Write. Just write. The limit? 50,000 words or more. If you are 13 or older, you should sign up for the Adult program, not the Young Writers Program, FYI.

This is something I'm going to be participating in myself anyway, and I thought I'd give everyone the month of October to prepare yourself with ideas, plot points you might want to use, character names, and anything else you might want to get out of the way before scribbling/typing frantically for 30 days in a row.

If you aren't participating, then please think about messaging my main account, :iconidenitycrisis27:, with any propositions you might have to help with the moderation and maintenance of this club. I do not want to see it die off, and I'd like to have some help with the moderation.

If you are planning on participating in NaNoWriMo this year (It's only once a year so you might want to get on it if you're even slightly interested!) then you should submit to the club! Get your ideas on paper (or Word), and send them in! Let's pool resources we might not use ourselves, but could be good for someone else, like character names, settings, or dates.

Here's an idea: Submit rough chapter drafts and let the OTHER members of this club do some editing for you. You've only got 30 days to write 50,000 words, and you've got to get some editing done sometime. Why not let us help?


At the end of the month of November, NaNoWriMo will post their winners, and at the same time, The-New-Classics will post their finalized entries, available for download in full or in part (at the writer's discretion, of course). If you're wondering about possibilities of being published, refer to this page to see what they have to say.


I think it'd be fun for the club to participate, and it'd be a great way to jumpstart us back into action.
